The next full Moon will be on Thursday morning, May 7. It’s the last in a series of four “supermoons” this year and coincides with Visakha Bucha Day.
Sometimes informally called “Buddha’s Birthday,” it commemorates the BIRTH, ENLIGHTENMENT and DEATH of Gautama Buddha.
This year due to the Corona virus and social distancing restrictions, celebration of Visakha Bucha Day in Thailand has been postponed.
