Life begins with faith. It is hard for someone to have faith in the level of practicing to reach spiritual liberation. Most people live their lives just to satisfy their own desires. To make merit, they choose to just observe precepts and give things, paving the way to heaven. However, they fail to reach Nirvana because they lack faith in themselves and lack the path that makes them believe they can reach Nirvana.
Life, whether worldly or Dhamma path, must have faith as a driving force in order to reach the destination.
In your life, if you believe that you are smart, the power of such a belief will stand out and overshadow all of your inferiority complexes, making you successful.
Likewise, regarding meditation practice, if you begin with the word “cannot”, such the word will suppress your life till your last breath. Hence, you must begin your life with the word “can”; I can. Even though your practice today is not good, you must keep trying again tomorrow. You may fail sometimes but you must not surrender to the destiny forever.
Due to the power of Kilesa (impurities) hidden in our minds, people tend to take things they got for granted. For example, some people do not like living in their home country. They want to live in another country where they think is better.
Life is short. We were born and live for a certain period of time before we die. However, before dying, we must not live a worthless life. Persevere in practicing meditation like true Buddhists. Leave goodness as a legacy for yourself and others to remember and for angels to praise. Do not just pray and ask from Buddha. Do not just be a good prayer.
Do repay Buddhism.
Show your gratitude to the Buddha and let the world evidently see that I am a Buddhist. My body and mind belong to Buddhism. My breath will not be useless but is dedicated to protecting Buddhism and revering Buddha’s dignity till my last breath.

ชีวิตเริ่มต้นที่ศรัทธา การที่ใครสักคนจะมีศรัทธาจนถึงขั้นออกภาวนาเพื่อการหลุดพ้น เป็นสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นได้ยาก คนส่วนมากใช้ชีวิตวนเวียนอยู่กับความต้องการของตัวเอง หากอยากทำกุศล ก็จะติดอยู่แค่การถือศีล ทำบุญสุนทาน สร้างทางไปสวรรค์แต่ก้าวไม่ถึงนิพพาน เพราะขาดศรัทธาในตัวเอง ขาดแนวทางที่ก่อให้เกิดความเชื่อว่าจะพาไปให้สุดทางได้ ชีวิต ไม่ว่าจะทางโลกหรือทางธรรม ล้วนต้องมีศรัทธาเป็นกำลังในการนำพานาวาชีวิตไปให้ถึงฝั่ง ในสนามชีวิต หากเราเชื่อให้ได้ว่าเราเป็นคนเก่ง พลังนั้นจะฉายแววออกมากลบทุกปมด้อยที่มีอยู่ ทำให้ชีวิตประสบความสำเร็จขึ้นมาได้
ในการปฏิบัติภาวนาก็เช่นกัน หากเริ่มต้นด้วยคำว่า “ไม่ได้” เสียแล้ว คำ ๆ นี้ จะกดชีวิตเราไปจนตาย เราต้องเริ่มต้นชีวิตด้วยคำว่า “ได้” ต้องทำได้ แม้วันนี้อาจยังทำได้ไม่ดี พรุ่งนี้ต้องลุยใหม่ แพ้ได้เป็นบางครั้ง แต่จะยอมแพ้ต่อชะตาชีวิตตลอดไปไม่ได้
ธรรมดาของกิเลสตัณหาที่ฝังอยู่ในจิตมนุษย์ เมื่อเราได้สิ่งไหนมาแล้ว เรามักเริ่มจะละเลยหรือไม่เห็นคุณค่าของสิ่งที่มีอยู่ เหมือนดั่งที่บางคนอาจไม่พอใจในการได้มีชีวิตอยู่ในแผ่นดินเกิด อยากแสวงหาไปอยู่ในที่คิดว่าวิเศษกว่า
ชีวิตคนเรา เกิดมาก็เท่านี้ มีชีวิตอยู่ แล้วอีกไม่นานก็ต้องตาย ชีวิตนี้สั้นนัก ยังไงเสีย จะตายทั้งที อย่าให้ตายเปล่า จงแสดงความเพียรเช่นพุทธแท้ให้ประจักษ์ จงทิ้งความดีไว้ให้ตนเองและผู้อื่นได้จดจำ ให้เทวดาได้สรรเสริญ อย่าทำเพียงแค่สวดมนต์อ้อนวอนต่อพระพุทธเจ้า อย่าอยู่ในฐานะของผู้ที่ดีแต่ขอ จงรู้จักตอบแทนคุณพระศาสนา แสดงความกตัญญูกตเวทีต่อพระศาสดาให้โลกประจักษ์ ว่าตัวข้านี้ กายคือพุทธ ใจคือพุทธ ที่ลมหายใจแห่งชีวิตจะไม่สูญเปล่า แต่จะเดินตามรอยพระพุทธเจ้า จะน้อมจิตไปเพื่อการปกป้องพระศาสนา และจะเทิดพระเกียรติอันสูงสุดยิ่งแห่งองค์พระศาสดา จวบจนชีวิตจะหาไม่
